1 man 2 guvnors

Hey

So remember on Sunday I said I'm going on a trip? Well I did yesterday! I would have talked about it but I got home at 11:20pm but without further ado this is Misha's trip going to

*DRUM ROLL*

So to begin we went back to school at 6 and we got the train to central London which was AWESOME!

Not the train bit- that was normal I mean Central London. You see Central London is like the main attraction (apart from Big Ben and stuff) when coming here it's AMAZING. You'd think me living here all my life I would have been there before but nope. There was music and tall buildings and I finally realise why people love London so much. I still think it's a bit crap but I get why people want to come here.

Anyway so we then went into the theatre and we waited for the play to start while these four dudes kept singing random jazzy songs which were really weird but good entertainment.

Then the play began. I suggest you take a deep breath before reading on because the plot is a little bit confusing. But let me start with the characters

Francis Henshall- the "one man" as in One Man, Two Guvnors. A bit of an idiot and gets things confused a lot.
Stanley Stubbers- one of the guvnors and is a murderer (more on that later)
Alfie- An old man who was hilarious
Rachel Crabbe- Stanely's girlfriend who is disguised as Rosco Crabbe her twin brother who died (more on that later)
Dolly- The woman Francis likes
Charlie- Some dude, he isn't important
Pauline- Some ditzy chick who wants to get married to Alan but her dad (Charlie) wants her to get married to Rosco (it's already getting confusing I know)
Alan- The dude who wants to marry Pauline and wants to be an actor

THIS IS SET IN 1963 BTW.

Anyway- Let's BEGIN!

So it all starts with the engagement party of Pauline and Alan who are deeply in love but it turns out it was actually Rosco and Pauline's engagement party but Rosco is declared dead so Charlie, Pauline's dad, let's Pauline marry Alan. Turns out Rosco isn't dead and he still wants to marry Pauline but actual it isn't Rosco it's Rachel, Rosco's twin sister, who is dressed up as him

BTW- Rosco is dead

Anyway Rachel doesn't want to marry Pauline she just wants to use this to blackmail Charlie so she can get money so she can run away and marry Stanely who actually killed Rosco. Yeah I know, she's marrying her brother's killer. Anyway so that's one piece of the comedy drama etc.

Another bit is that this idiot called Francis wants to eat food but no one is paying him so he decides to become Stanely's and Rachel/Rosco's servant thing and they keep making him do errands but he can't let them know he's two timing but he mixes up stuff and makes them believe that the other one is dead.

This nearly causes Rachel and Rosco to commit suicide but everything's fine in the end. Oh yeah and at the same time Francis wants to take this girl called Dolly to Majorca (somewhere in Spain)/

That's just the quick bit because I have to extremely funny bits to say.

Now Francis's motivation in the first half is that he's hungry. So at one point he says "Does anybody have a sandwich?" as it's his line. Now a member of the audience thinking he is asking us holds up a sandwich and says "I do" Now they didn't think that was going to happen so the actor who plays Francis (Rufus Hound) just begins laughing on stage and making jokes about the dude (not rude ones don't worry) anyway he asks what sandwich this guy has and he replies with humus making Rufus laugh even more and make even more jokes. Now due to this humus sandwich interruption this one guy doesn't get to say any of his lines and he only had 3. So as the change the set that man stands there giving the humus dude a death glare until he can walk off.

Now by this time of the play there have been several members of the audience on stage so he calls another person up to help him called "Catherine Patterson" now Francis/Rufus makes her do a lot of errands and stuff and she was really shy so she keeps laughing and giggling making us all a little restless. However when another character comes on stage Francis tells this Catherine Patterson to hide under the table. What makes things worse is the have one of those dishes on the table which you soak in wine then set fire to. Oh yeah proper fire as well. So they set it on fire and have to drag out Catherine. Francis then splashes water on her while the other character foams her with a fire extinguisher. To this point Catherine is crying her eyes out and a member of the crew comes on stage and carries her off, just as that happens it's the interval.

SO THE FUCKING PEOPLE LEAVE US TO THINK THEY HAVE SOAKED A RANDOM WOMAN BUT SHE TURNED OUT TO BE AN ACTRESS BUT IT WAS SO CONVINCING RGIUHGIUHBGIUHGSIUGHDILGHDIURHGF. Yeah that's it really xD...but it was amazing.

So if you ever come to London I would 10/10 recommend going to  Central London and if it's still going on by the time you're over the age of 15 (as there is some swearing and dirtyness) I would recommend you to watch this play too.

That's all. Over and Out
